palm pilots at sunrise [10/06/2003 17:38:04]

I was out at Stone Mountain again. It was 6:30 in the morning and the sky was dark. I thought I might finally catch a good sunrise from up at the top. I wondered what time sunrise would come.

Then it hit me. I have the internet on my cellphone. So I pulled up google and looked it up.

Sunrise was set for 7:35 today. I reached the top with 40 minutes to spare, so I went over my actions and projects lists. I got a lot of mental work done just sitting and watching the sky get light. What better place to reflect on life than a mountain top at sunrise?

It was cloudy though. The sun was ten degrees over into the sky before I caught a glimpse of it through a tear in the clouds. I wondered how to say it in toki pona, a simple language for simple things. So I checked.

That's what the future will be like: information you need, when you need it, no matter where you are.

suno li kama. mi lukin ala e ona.
