quadrupal your productivity with greasemonkey [05/04/2006 02:13:59]

My first greasemonkey script is the greatest productivity-increasing tool ever created.

digg.com covered with giant 'back to work' message

You can't tell from the picture, but the giant semi-transparent 'back to work' sign blinks. The idea is to keep the web usable, but make all but a few core sites annoying enough that I don't get caught up surfing when I should be working.

The source code is still ugly as hell.

Ah! I wrote a script to do something similar, but I just added a div that is on top of all others, with the text "You really don't want to be looking at this page." and a big button to get rid of it.

Did it help? So far so good on this front. Mine was supposed to disappear if you click it too, but there was a bug (fixed now). :)
