I will live each day cheerfully and with a sense of adventure...

Thus begins my personal mission statement - the document designed to guide my every decision.

And yet... I have to admit I have not been very cheerful lately.

If you (like me) [ heh heh heh ] need a reminder of what it means to be cheerful, please direct your attention to the following lecture by rock star and particle physicist, Dr. Brian Cox:

Michal, ABSOLUTELY LOVE the mission statement. If I were to write one, it would certainly be inspired by, and modeled after, this one. Dr. Cox is certainly cheerful. I myself have become an insanely cynical person over the course of my life, but particularly in the past few years. My brother's wife's sister used to study nutrinos and now goes around the world giving talks like this.
